We stayed two nights here for a nearby family wedding. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful, the food reasonably priced and very good. Would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again.
You see all kind of reviews on the internet, and I rarely take the time to write one, but I have to call Tailors out for a superb meal. We've been to many Michelin Star restaurants all over the world, so honestly we recognise good food, and every element of every meal was really well prepared. A perfectly cooked mushroom barley is a thing of beauty to have with any piece of chicken. The cod was beautifully cooked, with a hazelnut crust and a prawn bisque. And credit where its due, there were enough interesting dishes to really add to the experience, it's been years since I've seen pigeon, or a tonka bean brulee on a menu, and we loved them both. A faultless meal worth unreserved praise.
